TriState Health Foundation is hosting a MediaThon Fundraiser Wednesday, December 11. Funds raised will go towards the expansion and update of the Surgical Center for TriState Health. Donations can be made by calling 509.758.4902 or by visiting tsh.org/mediathon. 

Over the last few years, surgical services at TriState Health have increased by 50% and are expected to continue. In Asotin, Garfield, and Nez Perce Counties, 25% of residents are 65 years and older. The number of seniors have outpaced the number of children under 18 within this area, and the next cohort of incoming seniors (those aged 55-64) make up 21% of the total population. As the community continues to age so do the surgical needs of the Lewis-Clark Valley. TriState Health saw the need to update their surgical center so that patients can stay local for their healthcare. The new expansion and update will provide patients and families with the optimum care they deserve.
