Sleep Lab Accreditation

TriState Sleep Lab is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), which reflects our commitment to ensuring each of our patients receives the highest level of care from specialized staff. By achieving accreditation, a sleep center demonstrates a commitment to the provision of quality diagnostic services and the longitudinal management of sleep patients. AASM sleep center accreditation indicates to patients and referring physicians that a facility is dedicated to providing optimal patient care in sleep medicine. Recognizing that accreditation leads to improvements in patient care, public and private health insurance providers alike are requiring that sleep studies be performed at an accredited facility.

“Our caring team always ensures that each patient feels comfortable and receives the personalized, individual care they need,” said Angela Stein, Sleep Lab Director, for TriState Health. “Keeping our patients at ease is important to us. We know that sometimes people can be apprehensive about staying away from home for the night, and our staff focus diligently on helping them feel calm, safe, and secure.”

Our experienced staff at TriState Sleep Lab consistently scores in the top percentile for patient satisfaction. Each of our four private bedrooms is complete with an in-suite bathroom, a brand new comfortable spacious bed, recliner, and a flat screen television. All tests performed in the TriState Sleep Lab are interpreted by Keith Popovich, MD, Board Certified Sleep Physician. A comprehensive sleep program that has a clinic, where patient evaluation and management occur, and a laboratory, where diagnostic testing is administered through in-center sleep testing and home sleep apnea testing (HSAT).

Sleep disorders that affect the quality of sleep can lead to serious chronic health issues, such as diabetes, hypertension, congestive heart failure, irregular heart rhythm, clinical depression, and stroke. Leaving a sleep disorder undiagnosed and untreated can make for frustrating nights, difficult mornings, and impaired function throughout the day. We combine state-of-the-art technology with a caring and relaxing atmosphere to help patients with suspected sleep disorders.

“The Sleep Lab Tech was very understanding about my needs. She listened to me and helped me if I had questions or if I needed her.” – Satisfied Patient
