Ground Breaking Ceremony of New Inpatient & Dietary Wing

Tri-State Memorial Hospital will hold a ground breaking ceremony to celebrate the beginning construction for a new three-story Inpatient and Dietary wing on Friday, November 5, at 12:00pm. The onsite event will include board members, media personnel, and project supporters. The community is invited to attend virtually through live streaming on the Tri-State Memorial Hospital Facebook page, @TriStateMemorialHospital.

The project will consist of a new three-story addition connected to the west side of the main hospital. This multimillion dollar project includes a main floor housing 6 ICU rooms, lab, admissions area, café & bistro, and gift shop; a second floor housing 19 medical/surgical single inpatient rooms with 4 observation units (not counted in total bed count); and a lower level. The new wing project is expected to be completed in 2023.

“The new wing will provide an updated facility where patients can heal in a quiet and comfortable environment,” said Kym Clift, CEO at Tri-State Memorial Hospital. “The single occupancy rooms provide an opportunity for a patient’s loved ones to stay with them overnight. We know having the support of those close to the patient is critical to the healing process.”
