Evergreen Estates will host a Clarkston Elementary Schools Valentine’s Day Parade for Residents

Evergreen Estates will host a Clarkston Elementary Schools Valentine’s Day Parade for Residents on Monday, February 14, 2022, at 9:30am. A small group of elementary school students will be stopping by Evergreen Estates to deliver a Valentine’s Day banner and thousands of cards to the Evergreen Estates residents.

The handmade Valentine’s Day cards will be designed by the students at the four elementary schools in the Clarkston School District. Students will begin an outdoor parade on the north side of the building to wave to the residents looking through their windows or balconies.

The Valentine’s Day Parade is in conjunction with the Evergreen Estates “Send Some Love” campaign. Evergreen Estates is encouraging the Lewis-Clark Valley to “Send Some Love” by sending gifts of kindness and inspiration to their residents. This past year has been challenging for families and friends who want to check-in and make sure their loved ones are okay. To build everyone’s spirits, the community is welcome and encouraged to mail-in cards, crafts, letters, care packages, and share family photos online via their Facebook and Instagram platforms, using the hashtag #SendSomeLove. All items received will be shared with those living at Evergreen Estates.

“We know that the last couple of years have been difficult, and that’s why we are continuing to implement fun ways to help keep up the happy spirits of our residents,” said Pete Camerlo, Executive Director at Evergreen Estates. “Families can rest assured that at Evergreen Estates we are working diligently to keep your loved ones healthy, active, and uplifted.”

Items may be mailed to Tri-State Memorial Hospital Marketing Department, 1221 Highland Ave., Clarkston, WA, 99403. When making physical deliveries to Evergreen Estates, people will need to call ahead to make arrangements for dropping off packages. Their staff can be reached by phone at 509.758.5260.
