Schedule your Mammogram Today!

The TriState Imaging Center was the first of its kind in the region and continues to bring the latest in women’s diagnostic technology to the area. Our large facility is designed for privacy with women’s imaging separate from the rest of the imaging center, and changing rooms located right next to the exam rooms.

What We Offer

Expertise is critical when it comes to choosing where to have your breast cancer care. Our physician, Dr. Byron E. Wright, MD, FACS, is the only fellowship trained surgeon in the region who specializes in breast cancer with over 15 years of experience in the following services:

Breast Conservation Surgery (BCS): An option for women with early-stage cancers or a lump that is small in one area.

Benign Breast Disease: When benign (not cancerous) breast lumps occur, the condition is known as benign breast disease. While these breast changes are not life-threatening, they may increase the risk of developing breast cancer. Most types of benign breast disease don’t require treatment, but if you notice a lump, immediately make an appointment with your healthcare provider.

Mastectomy: The removal of the breast, chest muscles, and all the lymph nodes under the arm, the lining over the chest muscles, and sometimes part of the chest wall muscles.

Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy: This is a safe and accurate surgical procedure used to determine what stage of possible cancer may be present in your lymphatic system. If there is cancer in the lymph nodes, a sentinel node biopsy will locate it over 90% of the time. This approach involves injecting a tracking agent that assists the surgeon in locating the sentinel nodes during surgery.

We offer 3D Tomosynthesis Digital Mammography. Our 3D mammography is the most advanced technology available for the detection of breast cancer.

Better, Earlier Detection: Only the Genius exam finds 20-65% more invasive breast cancers compared to 2D alone. This can mean earlier diagnosis and a greater variety of treatment options.

Superior for Dense Breasts: Almost 50% of women over 40 have dense breast tissue, which can hide early signs of cancer detection in a traditional mammogram. This exam is the only FDA approved mammography for women with dense breasts.

More Comfortable: The Genuis exam offers the fastest available scan, limiting the length of time you’re under compression.

Fewer Callbacks: The Genuis exam reduces callback by up to 40% compared to 2D alone. This can spare you the emotional and economic toll of additional testing, including biopsies when nothing could be wrong.

Less Radiation: Some older 2D/3D exams expose you to more radiation, because they include two separate scans. Using synthesized 2D, we’ve figured out a way to minimize your exposure for maximum safety.
