Urogynecologic Services We Offer

At TriState Health, our Urogynecologist and nurse practitioner provide compassionate care using the latest techniques to diagnose and treat a broad range of female pelvic health conditions, including:

  • Frequent bladder infections
  • Overactive bladder
  • Pelvic pain
  • Pelvic Organ Prolapse
  • Urinary incontinence
  • Sexual disfunction
  • Other pelvic floor conditions

Pelvic floor dysfunction is the inability to relax and coordinate your pelvic floor muscles to have a bowel movement. Symptoms include constipation, straining to defecate, having urine or stool leakage, and experiencing a frequent need to pee. Below some of the pelvic floor disorders we treat:

  • Urinary incontinence
    • Risk factors include: vaginal childbirth, genetics, chronic constipation, obesity
  • Overactive bladder
  • Pelvic Organ Prolapse
    • Occurs when the pelvic organs — like the uterus or bladder — drop because of weakened vaginal muscles

We are one of the only clinics in our region to offer minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Minimally invasive surgery can be used to treat a range of gynecologic conditions and has many benefits over traditional surgery, including lower risk of complications and faster recovery. Our providers will determine if minimally invasive surgery is right for you.

Below are a few of the most common surgical procedures offered by Dr. Szigeti:

  • Robotic sacrocolpopexy for pelvic prolapse
  • Midurethral slings for urinary incontinence
  • Vaginal surgical procedures for when sacrocolpexy is not the best option
  • Complex robotic excision procedures for endometriosis
