TriState Health is opening a new Dermatology clinic, welcoming new provider Carol Chandler, APRN – BC, this fall. TriState Dermatology will be located at 1119 Highland Avenue, Suite 7, on the TriState Health main campus. TriState Dermatology is now scheduling patients. Carol Chandler, APRN-BC, earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida, in 1994 and 1997, respectively. She began her career in dermatology in Florida at the Hernando Skin and Cancer Center, later joining the Florida Medical Clinic, where she worked as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner. During this time, she developed expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, including skin cancer, actinic keratosis, eczema, psoriasis, acne, warts, alopecia, and complex skin disorders.

For over 27 years, Carol has devoted her practice to dermatology, bringing extensive knowledge and a compassionate approach to patient care. For the past seven years, she has served patients locally at Catalyst Medical Group, specializing in general dermatology for individuals aged 12 and above. Her extensive experience has provided her with unique insight into caring for patients with multiple and overlapping health conditions, and she is dedicated to delivering thorough, personalized, and patient-focused care that supports both skin health and overall well-being.

“There are really so many reasons that I find rewarding about being a provider,” said Carol Chandler, APRN-BC. “I enjoy that challenging case where you use your education and intuition to solve a problem. I love how genuine and thankful so many of the patients are. I love that I have the opportunity to interact with such a diverse and lovely group of people. I have taken care of everyone from acrobats to real-life rocket scientists.”

TriState Dermatology focuses on general skin health services, not cosmetic treatments. Common conditions they diagnose and treat include:
