Healing Garden
TriState Health is dedicated to providing patients with the best care possible. As part of this commitment, they want to incorporate a Healing Garden to their main campus to promote healing through relaxation, physical activity, and mental well-being. Research has shown that access to a garden or even just a view of one can lower blood pressure, reduce stress, and help improve recovery rates.
Seeking Local Artists!
We are looking to commission between one to three pieces of bronze and/or metal sculptures for the healing garden that evokes peace, well-being, and nature. Interested artists may inquire or submit designs and proposals before July 31, 2024. Submit designs to TriState Health Foundation at PO Box 636, Clarkston, WA 99403, or email foundation@tsmh.org.
What are the benefits of a healing garden?
The Healing Garden at TriState Health can also be used as Physical Therapy, providing movement activities such as lifting water cans or walking on different surfaces to reinforce walking and balance skills. The team at TriState Health believes that this investment in their patients’ well-being will make a significant difference in their recovery.
How much will a healing garden cost?
- Structural (Paths, Walls, Turf, Benches, Gazebo, etc.) – $338,000
- Water Feature – $125,000
- Plants, Florals, and Materials – $125,000
Total Cost: $558,000
Our goal is to raise $750,000 and we will have naming opportunities with benches, tables, a bridge, garden sections, pavers, and recognition walls (Veterans Memorial, Auxiliary Blue Angels Memorial, and donor levels).
