The Arnone Family, Generations of Giving Back

Scott and Lori Arnone have supported TriState Health for more than 30 years because they believe deeply in the power of exceptional, local healthcare. “Great healthcare matters. The availability of outstanding surgical staff matters,” Scott shares. “As we look ahead to our own future health needs, supporting the Surgery and Clinic Expansion is incredibly important.”

For the Arnones, access to high-quality surgical care close to home is essential. Not only for themselves, but for everyone who calls the Lewis-Clark Valley home. “I do not want to travel for my surgical needs,” Scott says. “Having the ability to remain in our valley and rely on our own surgical services is important for our entire community.”

The Surgery & Clinic Expansion will complete TriState Health’s P1FCU Inpatient Wing, ensuring the best possible care for patients who require surgical services. Just as importantly, it reinforces what makes TriState Health truly unique. “Community-owned means community-centered care,” Scott explains. “This hospital has never changed ownership, and it has never lost sight of its guiding principle: the patient always comes first.” Every dollar invested stays right here, strengthening care and benefiting the community as a whole.

Scott’s connection to TriState Health runs deep. The hospital has been part of his family’s life for more than 50 years. His mother, Joanne Shears, worked at TriState for 33 years and served as Director of Nursing. “They gave my mother so many opportunities and helped her succeed in countless ways,” Scott recalls. During her 12-year cancer journey, TriState supported her with compassion—providing time to heal, continued pay, and deep appreciation for her dedication. Joanne’s passion for TriState Health, along with her love for vintage fashion, inspired her to start the Holiday Tea and Vintage Style Show, now known as the High Tea, which continues today in her honor.

Supporting TriState Health is a true family tradition for the Arnones. Scott began volunteering on the TriState Health Foundation Board of Trustees in 1991 before joining the TriState Health Board of Directors in 1997. Lori contributed for many years as a Festival of Trees designer—a tradition now carried on by their daughters, Adrianna Druffel and Jade Arnone. Trevor Arnone has served on the TriState Health Foundation Board of Trustees since 2013.

The Arnone family embodies a commitment to honoring the past, strengthening the present, and investing in the future of their community. “TriState provides the best care in our valley, and we are so fortunate to have them,” Scott says. TriState Health and the Foundation are equally fortunate to have the Arnone family’s unwavering generosity, leadership, and support!
