Expert care for patients with complex or chronic infections

Specialized Care, Delivered Virtually

The Infectious Disease Clinic provides expert, compassionate care for patients with complex or chronic infections — all through secure telemedicine visits. Board-certified infectious disease specialists work closely with your TriState Health care team to evaluate, treat, and manage a wide range of infectious conditions.

This service is available by internal referral only. If your TriState Health provider determines that you would benefit from a consultation, they will coordinate the referral and help you schedule a telemedicine appointment.

Our Focus

Our specialists provide comprehensive evaluation and management for a variety of infectious diseases, ensuring patients receive accurate diagnosis and effective, evidence-based treatment.

Chronic or Difficult-to-Treat Infections

These include infections that have not responded to standard treatment or that recur frequently. Our team evaluates underlying causes and coordinates long-term care to promote healing and prevent relapse.

We work closely with your surgeon and wound care team to manage infections that may develop after a procedure, ensuring proper healing and reducing complications.

Our specialists provide expert management of bone and joint infections, often coordinating antibiotic therapy and imaging follow-up to monitor recovery.

We help patients transition safely from hospital to home after serious bloodstream infections, ensuring continued recovery and monitoring for recurrence.

From cellulitis to abscesses, we provide evaluation and treatment to prevent the spread of infection and promote healing.

We offer ongoing care and management for chronic viral infections, including medication support, lab monitoring, and coordination with your primary care provider.

How Telemedicine Visits Work

All appointments are conducted  virtually using a secure video platform. During your visit, our specialists will:

  • Review your medical history, test results, and current symptoms,
  • Collaborate with your referring provider to create a personalized care plan
  • Recommend diagnostic test, medication management, or IV antibiotic therapy as needed
  • Coordinate follow-up care

This approach allows patients to receive specialized care conveniently, while staying connected to their local healthcare team.
