Tri-State Hospital Foundation Launches Their First Healthy Smiles Campaign

This June, in honor of Oral Health Month, as outlined by the American Dental Association, the Tri-State Hospital Foundation launches their first Healthy Smiles Campaign in partnership with dental clinics in the Lewis-Clark Valley.
Partners in this year’s Health Smiles Campaign include Lewiston Oral & Facial Surgery, LC Smiles, and the Chas Lewis & Clark Dental Clinic.
“We are excited for our new partnership with local dentists and orthodontist in advocating for healthy habits when it comes to our communities’ oral hygiene,” said D’Lynn Ottmar, Chief Development Officer at Tri-State Hospital Foundation. “Preventative care is so important to a person’s overall health and well-being, including preventative dentistry.”
Studies show that poor oral health is linked to heart diseases, diabetes, pregnancy complications, and more. Together, Tri-State Hospital Foundation and local dental clinics are sending out messages to encourage proper oral hygiene and increase the community’s knowledge of dental health.
Tri-State Memorial Hospital is a community leader of integrated health and healing, offering a broad range of medical services from emergency, surgery, and specialized essential healthcare for the Lewis-Clark Valley. Hospital philanthropy harnesses the power of generosity to transform the health and well-being of this community. It gives patients and families a way to express gratitude and give back and a means for community-minded individuals and corporations to invest in their community owned and operated hospital.
