COVID-19 Message From Tri-State

A MESSAGE TO OUR COMMUNITY

As one of the leading healthcare providers in the Lewis-Clark Valley, it is our duty to continue and urge the community we care for to take the steps necessary to protect themselves, and each other, from the spread COVID-19.

Together we are starting to learn what the “new normal” is going to look like, and we still have quite a ways to go before we are out on the other side. We know it can be overwhelming to continue to hear about COVID-19 and the effects that it is having both locally and nationally, but we can’t give up yet.

Reports provided by both Asotin County Public Health and Idaho Public Health show that COVID-19 is still here and prevalent in our area. We are asking everyone to continue to take the steps necessary to protect everyone in our community, but especially those who are most vulnerable.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses:

  • Wash your hands often with warm soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • When out in public, wear a face mask over your nose and mouth. Masks should not be worn by children under the age of two, anyone who has trouble breathing, or anyone who can’t take off the mask without help from another person (e.g., if someone is unconscious or paralyzed).
  • Continue to practice social distancing of at least 6ft or more. You can reduce your own risk of exposure to COVID-19 by avoiding crowds, limiting close contact from people who do not live by you, and choosing outdoor spaces rather than indoor.

Life in the midst of COVID-19 has sparked frustration and anxiety all around. Now, more than ever, we must continue to steer our focus and energy on defeating this pandemic and the challenges that are associated with it. Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our patients, the community, and our employees.

We are still so grateful for all of the support and understanding during this unprecedented time. Please continue to practice social distancing, wear a mask, and wash your hands often. It is challenging, but our collective diligence is needed to protect one another. As we have said before, we are all in this together.
