What is MAT and How Does It Help?

Medication-Assisted Treatment, or MAT, is a proven approach that combines medication with counseling to help people overcome opioid addiction. It works by easing withdrawal symptoms, reducing cravings, and making it easier to focus on rebuilding your life.

Here's how it helps:

Stops the Cycle

MAT breaks the constant battle with cravings and withdrawal, giving you the chance to stabilize, heal, and gain control.

Customized Treatment

Everyone’s recovery is different. Whether you stay on medication for a short time or long term, we’ll find what works best for you.

Ongoing Stability

MAT is comparable to managing chronic conditions like high blood pressure. Continuous follow-up appointments support long-term recovery.

Let's Take the First Step

Together

Recovery starts here, and we're ready to walk with you every step of the way. Whether you're seeking help for yourself or someone you care about, TriState Health's MAT program can give you the support that you need to begin a new chapter.
