There is a plethora of books and other reading material on the market written for thyroid patients. Some are written by physicians who are thyroid specialists trained in endocrinology, some by thyroid patients, and others by physicians not trained in endocrinology.
So, how do you decide which will help you the most? The following notes on a few current books are intended to guide you in your search for more thyroid information. Of course, no book can take the place of seeing a physician for diagnosis, treatment, and follow up.
