Mission and Goals

Mission:
TFA's mission is to become the best at providing credible, unbiased information on thyroid topics using electronic, print, and voice technology for the benefit of patients with thyroid disorders, their families and the general public. It is also to ensure timely accurate diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and ongoing support for all individuals with thyroid disease.

Goals:

• Educate and support thyroid patients, and the physicians and other health professionals who care for them.
• Increase public awareness of thyroid problems.
• Work with other organizations to raise and distribute funds for research to find the causes, cures, and the means of preventing thyroid disorders.
